CSIC 702 Research Institute

In 2017, our company cooperated with CSIC 702 Research Institute to develop a model ice axial compression strength measurement system.

CSIC 702 Research Institute (also known as China Shipbuilding Science Research Center) is the research and development unit of Jiaolong deep submersible. CSIC is a group company engaged in the research and development of marine engineering mechanics, structural mechanics, high-performance ships and underwater engineering. The 702 Research Institute, located in Wuxi, was formerly known as the ship model test institute established in 1951. In 1961, the state established the China Ship Research Institute (the seventh Institute), and the Institute was renamed 702 Institute.

The Institute is mainly engaged in the application basic research of hydrodynamics, structural mechanics, vibration, noise, impact resistance and other related technologies in the field of ship and marine engineering, as well as the research, design and development of high-performance ship and underwater engineering.
